William R. Price (1886–1975), a field botanist from the Royal Botanic Gardens, was astonished to discover the beautiful and fragrant giant Hinoki cypress trees in Taiwan’s misty cloud forests, evoking a sense of connection to the towering redwoods across the Pacific Ocean.

In Taiwan's Central Mountain Range, the scent of tea drifts like poetry; on the western coast, flowers bloom in the sea breeze into a breath of the soul; and on the eastern shore, the fragrance of fruits dances with the waves, nourished by the Pacific. These three natural aromas weave together into a spectacle — the Spectacular Fragrance of Taiwan.

Here, each scent is a tribute to this land, every flavor an expression of love and reverence for this island. Let our senses find healing and an art of living amidst this green and blue expanse.
